Gad Harlev

Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Gad Harlev

Who am I and what's my story? Why and how did I come to financial advising? And why do I love it so much?

So here's how it went:

In 2015, after about 16 years in high-tech and three degrees (in case you're interested: biology, economics and business administration, and industrial engineering and management), I left my workplace as part of a voluntary retirement program.

During that time, I founded a startup together with two friends who had also left, and at the same time I began volunteering at Paamonim, a nonprofit that helps families manage their budgets and accompanies them on the journey from the red into the black.

As a volunteer, I accompanied families as they got their finances in order and moved out of difficult, complicated situations toward a healthier way of managing their money.

And then I discovered that I feel a strong connection to the process of helping people.

There is a tremendous sense of meaning and of being able to make progress, and things also come naturally to me: I have the ability to connect with people, support them and help them. Little by little, friends and relatives also began turning to me for help, and it took up more and more of my time and attention.

That's how I came to understand the great impact that managing your finances, coping with financial difficulties and gaining control in this area has on every area of life: personal, family, relationships, health and more.

And since, on the one hand, I had truly fallen in love with the field, and on the other hand, the startup never really took off, I made financial advising my way of life and helping others my main occupation.

Over the years I kept developing professionally, took more courses and added more specializations: mortgage advising, help with building investment plans, savings for children, securing your financial future and more.

In addition, I have the pleasure of teaching at Sami Shamoon College of Engineering, and one semester I was even named "Outstanding Lecturer 😊". It was really fun!

I believe that each and every one of us deserves the opportunity to get ahead in life, and that's why today I am wholeheartedly dedicated to bringing people and money together.
